NMRA National Convention & 75th Anniv. The National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) will be celebrating its 75th birthday in 2010. As part of the festivities the National Convention will be held in Milwaukee Wisconsin, the birthplace of the NMRA. We are planning a, rip roaring Midwestern, good time for all, both model railroader and general interest attendee alike. Dates for the convention are Sunday July 11th to Sunday July 18th. On Sunday the 11th, we are going to kick off the week with a Beer and Brat Fest (a Milwaukee Favorite) at Zeidler Union Square Park, just a stone’s throw away from the convention site and hotel.
